Hi, new grad here. What do you recon is future in Android Development. Been doing Android from University and just started full time as Android Developer. TC : 65K Should I focus deeply into Android Development or move towards learning Machine Learning and Leetcoding and then apply for FAANG? Really wanted to do OMSCS from Georgia Tech
In my experience, Android development is a highly valued skill and becoming more important as developing countries becomes an increasing target.
Define AI/ML, nowadays many people blindly want to work in "AI/ML" without knowing what it is about. First, understand the field and decide if you want to do. It is very scary that many people are obsessed with AI/ML, I guess everyone has the delusion of what ML is really about.
Opinion: there are less jobs in UI programming (iOS, Android, web frontend), but this kind of programming will never go away; it defies abstraction.
Makes sense, even I don't want to be the guy, who changes colors and updates label. How do I level up? Maybe learn C/C++ and start leetcoding and get into ML/AI
Do you perceive the same phenomenon regarding desktop development (including OS and web browser)?
