Career change suggestions: help me blind!

TLDR: Don’t like the TC in Support and want to make lots of money (400-500k minimum). Extroverted and likable in general and considering sales or medicine. Need suggestions! Hey guys; I’m currently in a Support Role at Amazon (L4 TC 120k); been doing this about 2 years now and I’m really not sure what I want to do next. I’m going to be honest here: 1. My priority is to make much more money than I do now. I don’t choose to follow any particular passion but do what I need to do so that I can retire early and live a luxurious life. I’ll get heat for this but my approach keeps me happy. 2. I’m a very extroverted person and enjoy working with others; therefore, I’ve been considering things like Enterprise Software sales (not sure about the money in this field) or even going back to school to pursue a professional field like Medicine or Law. I tried not to make this too long so I apologize for any vague verbiage.

I wouldn’t go back for a medical degree. That’s easily 7+ years before you make even close to what you’re making now. If anything the law degree might be worth.

Software sales is high risk, high reward. If you feel like you can be in the top 10% you can easily make that TC. If not, you're scraping by. Why don't you get an MBA at a top tier school (m7) the. Go consult at a Bain or McKinsey. If you're willing to travel and do 80+ he weeks you'll make your money there.

What do you do for Qualtrics? Sales as well?

You sound like a candidate for investment banking - if all you care about is making the most possible and having a luxurious lifestyle you will fit in there. As qualtricdo said - enterprise software sales will be either feast or famine - if you are successful, you can get to 7 figures. If not, you will most likely get fired. There isn't a lot in between. MBB can make good money, but you will give up your life. Big tradeoff there - you need to look hard at the consulting lifestyle. It's great for those that it works for - sucks for everyone else.

I’ve looked into this but it requires one to go to a Target (Ivy or slightly below Ivy) school. Is there any other ways in for someone already in Industry?

Nope. You go to Wharton. Did you think it was going to be easy to get what you want?!?!
