I know people will have different opinions in general about climate, schools and prefer Seattle or bay area. I am creating this poll just for career growth aspect. Thanks in advance for inputs.

I would say career growth is similar in those two locations up to a certain point (e.g. senior engineer) but Bay Area starts to really shine if you’re looking at director + level roles.
And just to be clear - I’m talking about career growth in big tech. If you’re looking to start your career in start ups, there’s no comparison.
Why no comparison? Seattle has lots of start ups too.
