Career option for a new grad - unicorn startup in Bay Area vs Bloomberg

I have an offer deadline from the startup with compensation TC:$280k ($145k, 15000 stock units, $20K joining bonus). I interviewed for Bloomberg(NYC) and am pretty sure would get the offer. So, what should I expect the compensation from Bloomberg to be and which option should I go for considering my growth as a Software Engineer.

Just search some of the posts here. But for the TLDR toxic culture, old tech stack and engineering is 2nd class unless Wall Street is your end goal with a career pivot.

Culture wasn’t toxic at all when I was there. Engineering was also solid. Only problem was bureaucracy but that’s all big corps

What are your stock units valued at? Does the company do annual refreshers? From my experience, Bloomberg will likely have lower TC for a new grad, but hopefully someone who works there will chime in.

Bloomberg new grad tc is around 150 but they match sign on.

I don’t know which startup is offering 145k base which is pretty impressive.

When I got the offer it was $8/share. They just have it on promotion. Although there is a 10% bonus a year.

For tech go to a start-up instead of a finance company's tech department.
