Referencing: https://www.teamblind.com/article/Facebook-Order-of-steps-after-onsite-EpNm1rwn What i know: - failed fb onsite 1.5 years ago - did ok for this onsite, passed all coding questions and followups What my recruiter told me: - Probed for followup for E5 but didnt do it, team decided I was E4 after debrief - Passed the debrief stage - "There were some positives in the feedback but some weak points, so it is not a guarantee we will move forward with an offer yet. " - "In our final review meeting there was some back and forth so we have held the decision and will need to have a second review team involved." It seems like there are some back and forth in the "Candidate Review"... It has been one week since my interview, im having so much anxiety... What are my chances of getting rejected when doubts come up in the candidate review stage? Anything i can do to help my chances aside from follow up interview? fb is my top choice

Chances of rejection at FB are always high at any stage. Even the very last one.
yep. i didnt get it after 2 weeks of agony
That sounds like a fail. Sorry op
Getting to debrief doesn't mean anything. It usually means there was a mismatch in feedback or someone felt strongly against everyone else.
It usually results in follow up interviews to clear off blank spaces or question marks they might have had in the feedback. It’s usually that, or rejection in such cases because companies like Facebook tend to prefer false negatives to false positives. In any case, wish you luck and keep us posted :) if this doesn’t go through, remember that there are a ton of great companies out there and it’s not the end of the road. That’s the beauty of our field!
Thanks!
