Change location after accepting offer
I recently got a G L4 offer with TC 300K and i signed it after team matching with a team in Mountain View. I’m planning to join G sometime in October. 1. Will the recruiter accept and work for me if I now ask for a change of location to Austin,TX? 2. How will it affect my TC? Current TC : 200K

If you went through team matching then I think it might be hard. Teams usually prefer people in the same location. Recruiter will have to find a new team.
I'm interested to hear myself. I would tend to think that your comp negotiations would start over, but I don't know that for a fact. Austin does have quite a few openings.
Would have been harder if the expected location was Seattle or NYC. Austin looks possible.

Lesser people wanting to move to Google Austin vs NYC or Seattle, so more openings. Also, less tech talent in Austin as compared to bay area and Seattle so they should ideally welcome you to Austin.
