Change of employer in F1 OPT status
Hi blind community, I've recently got an offer from another company with almost similar pay. It's been just about 2 months since I started with my current employer after graduation. Would this move be a problem while I file for my H1B? Reason for leaving is the better work(dev / data engg) at the new company. My current role is more about support which is not challenging enough. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance. TC 115k | Texas

Stay with the company which has more chances for H1B approval and a better backup plan if things don’t work out(like sending to Canada/UK/India)

Switch
I don’t think there’s any problem moving to a better employer. Many people do that. In fact, it is advisable to switch before your h1b is filed.
Thanks for the comment. I'd say the role is better but the employer is mid sized as compared to the current employer.
