Changing employers while AOS pending , EB1 category
I have my AOS pending for more than an year now and am looking to change employers. I have the I140 filed under EB1-b with priority date Jan18 (I am in Indian citizen). Has anyone gone through this? Is it easy to transfer the pending AOS to the new employer?

Same boat. Changed job within company to a different division. Lawyers mentioned as long as its the same research area, you should be fine.
If you had the interview already, then transferring should be straight forward. I am not sure if you are even required to file suppliment J or not..
As long as the new job is same family you can do portability. Nothing to worry. (I am not a lawyer, I just speak on my experience, I did exactly what you said) Also ask a lawyer.
Talking to one of the companies I was interviewing at, they mentioned I might need to show more than 50% time being spent on research as I applied for my 140 showing my PhD/publications. Do you know if that's true? Ya I'll check with a lawyer
