Any reasonable places to do car wash in Bay Area ? This is a recurring event bi weekly or at least monthly ? Do you buy any packages for such to bring the cost down .
We have so much free rain this year. Let mother nature do its job.
Itās actually corrosive to let mud sit on the car while the rain water hits it.
How much do you mean by cheap?
I detail my car myself and itās been a money saver. And no, am not a dude! I just found some cost effective ways by lurking on some online auto detailing forums and finding great products that I can use for a nice deep or quick detail. It doesnāt require too much set up or a traditional car wash port for that matter. Itās literally one of the places where you can save money by buying a few basic products and testing your skills over a weekend afternoon.
Yes , I m looking for detailed cleaning inside the car š. Any products or skills which worked well for you , could you let me know . If works out well , will make this my routine cleaning
Sure I lurked on auto-detailing sub on Reddit to get my recommendations, built a kit with the least number of products and did an almost professional job. Investment cost is about $50-$100 for the products but thatās only because I am really finicky and wanted the most return on investment. Iāve already detailed my car three times and roughly recovered the input cost.
I generally use automated car washes on some gas stations. Good external cleaning for less than $10
Who washes their car every month?
Me. Every three weeks. Using ONR rinseless car wash. Itās a family thing for me. My dad was into cars where we grew up, so Iāve always been tinkering. Only buy cars I can pay with cash and only clean / tinker at home unless there is a professional service needed.
