Hi all,
Any feedback for an account manager role at chrome os team? I know Google is an awesome company (with some con’s if you dig deep enough, obviously) but how is chrome os team positioned in Google? any relevant feedback will be appreciated.
I was encouraged to interview for a role leading one of the GTM teams and was a little hesitant since initially i wasn’t that excited by the space. However I did end up doing a quick round of interviews and was impressed with the team and their approach/focus to drive ChromeOS beyond the EDU market. It’s an uphill battle and plenty of work on building out the platform, figuring out how to evolve ChromeOS and Android and getting market share in the mature PC/post PC category. They seemed committed to invest and open to disruptive ideas. In the end they went with an internal candidate. So in short I think it’s a focus area for them and they seem to be investing and building a strong team
