Cisco Meraki
My understanding is they are a separate entity owned by Cisco. How’s the work culture and how’s the compensation structure like? Do you get yearly stock refreshers?
As a Cisco employee, you don’t get to interact with them much. You can’t go to the building with your badge. You don’t get the same set of benefits. Apparently their grade structure is different. Cisco wants to keep hands off as much as possible.
No stock. (Not atleast in the lower levels). Yes they have a different grade system compared to Cisco. Culture is very good, lot of perks and vibrant office environment. Compensation may be comparable at Cisco standards.
Is manager role eligible for stock refresh? What can we expect in base/bonus/stock ? 10YOE, previous FANG employers.

Meraki definitely has more of a younger startup vibe. Better benefits, catered lunch and dinner every day and Lyft credits. Salary less structured than Cisco, more dependent on what you negotiate on the way in.
What’s expected TC for a manager level role at Meraki with 10YOE?
Not as heavily graded as Cisco. Based on what you can negotiate.
they won’t compare with FAANG in pay. But they sure have a good culture.
