Cisco compensation
Is this normal for a Cisco swe role? The recruiter told me these numbers. 125-150k base, 60-90k stocks vested over 4yrs, 12% bonus. 1yoe. Milpitas location.
Hmm that would be unfortunate. They seemed like they really wanted to be transparent to not waste either of our time.

If go with 140K, 17K as a bonus and 20K stocks TC is 177K which is very competitive for 1YOE
Grade 8 bonus is 12% and usually the base for grade 6 is 120-125k. My friend is grade 8 and has a base of 131k. All of these are in Man Jose
My friend is grade 6 with a base of 100k

Yes it’s grade 8. Base is pretty good since the average grade 8 salary is 135-140k. Push for higher end like 150k. Good number of stocks. Most of time due to IPF u will get more than 12 percent as bonus. So overall a good offer
