Hi Cisco sales team. I'm interviewing with Cisco for a sales role. How often are bonuses paid out? Is a deal closed when the customer commits, the PO is cut, or the solution delivered?
Are sales base salaries pretty low? Glassdoor shows them around $110K. Are the bonus targets 100% of base? How are the accelerators above target?
Depends on the role. Upto g11 base is very low with very high bonus ratio. It flips at g12 with high base and Low bonus ratio. Depending on role your bonus can be upto 185% of base.
Commissions are paid monthly and bonuses are not part of the comp plan unless you have quarterly non sales based objectives you have to meet ... If you are on a sales commission plan, you are not eligible for company bonus
Base comp is generally 30-50% of total depending on role. With accelerators, sales people can make pretty disgusting amounts of money if they smash their goals.
