Currently have a L5 Software Eng role at FB London (10y of experience). Total comp about 200-220£ per year. Pretty relaxed and chilled environment, good manager, but probably close to zero chance for promo to L6. passed an interview for Citadel Securities, for Quant Dev role (C++), fixed income department, waiting for an offer and numbers. Does anyone know, how much I can ask? how is wlb in London Citadel office?

Comp is driven by other offers, very little role/level bands like at other places.
What is role as a Quant dev ?
Quant Developer - something between technology and quant analysis, writing pricing libraries, execution strategies and so on
What level of maths knowledge did Citadel want from you? I want to move into quant dev and I’m considering if a master’s in financial mathematics is required. My only background is comp sci.
