With Amazon so far ahead of the pack, it's surprising that Google, Microsoft, and IBM arent doubling down with their recruitment for enterprise sales roles in their cloud services divisions. Any insights into why they haven't been more aggressive with hiring in that space?

Also the RIF was primarily around people who refused to upskill themselves and preferred to stick to old tech, and also for people in sales who refused to adopt the new sales model and were stuck to the old 'sell a 3 year multi-million $ EA and coast' model. In short- deadwood.
