Doesn’t this sound very similar to the Silicon Valley plot hmmm
A lot of the people who went there were the bad 🍏 from early Uber days. Also who takes money from that fund after Jamal Khashoggi. Gross.
Uber did lol. Specifically took funding from SoftBank vision fund just to screw with Lyft. Dara said he'd rather have a 9 billion had cannon guiding him than against him. https://www.vox.com/2018/2/14/17014762/uber-softbank-dara-khosrowshahi-goldman-sachs
Anyone questioning the 5b valuation? It is sky high for an early stage startup imo...
if ubereats, doordash, and all of those delivery companies are losing money, how can CloudKitch gain profits?
- why should you exist? - why should YOU exist but I don't? they were asking questions like this to each other.
It's like the AWS model, that seems Inspired from the gold Rush supplies model prevalent in 1800's pioneer square in Seattle. Doordash and Uber eats may or may not be profitable, like the gold Rush sailors. Either ways, I provide you the food (tools to hold Rush sailors) your business needs to survive. Whether you strike gold through commission or make a loss due to discount is not my problem, I'll make my margins. AWS allows startups to make their business high scale, and takes a big chunk of their operating expenses. Whether the startup become Pinterest or yet another loss leader, AWS dgaf, they made their margins.
