First things is they won't take u seriously if u not from a top company. You MIGHT be treated differently.

I heard this from few friends.. You may check glassdoor as well. Cohesity/rubrik has many people from Google/facebook etc. so they have some bias about FAANG. I won't say that everyone in the comonay is like that but I told what I have heard from known people.

Ofcourse they pay more than FAANG unless you already have too high salary to match

I don’t know how you check but you are clearly wrong. Check LinkedIn google engineers are still there and very satisfied with the work.
