I dont know how to best give feedback, but figured I would tag BoA. Recruiter cold called me. When asked for key deliverables of position she avoided and went on how this work would be much more important than anything else I’ve done in the past (6 YoE across multiple industries). Stopped her mid sentence and said I’m passing but good luck. Honestly may even change banks after that experience lol
Stay away from BofA.
Sounds very much like Cybercoders or Skyrocket ventures, both useless recruiting firms with incompetent, arrogant recruiters
Can confirm Cybercoders are useless. Bypass them and apply directly when possible.
Unfortunately recruiter was an actual BoA employee..
This is my not surprised face
I've never heard of BofA recruiters cold-calling people. But there are thousands of hungry intermediaries out there hunting for a commission, some better than others. Find/choose a good recruiter and stick with him. Plenty of chaff out there, not worth your time, and no reason to get aggravated.
They contacted me via LinkedIn. I sent a resume over and they called me out of the blue some days later
Okay, cold-ish, not sure cold-calling. She sounds like she was full of it... embarrassing to hear.
When recruiters have to find you it means no one is applying to the job
