Watching live via Bloomberg now. The camera is on Mark non-stop but I wish it would show the senators asking the questions too... There were alot of good questions from Congress but some of these senator were asking dumb ass questions that shows their lack of understanding Facebook and other tech companies. Especially the one demanding mark answer who is Facebook's direct competitor.... And gave an example of buying a car. Like Wtf.... You can't compare car manufacturing with tech companies that provide a plethora of services that overlaps. He was so rude too, didn't catch which senator that was. I really hope the government doesn't get involve in regulating data privacy on these platforms... They would suck at it like they suck at everything else they do. What do you guys think?
Watch the live stream on Fb. The page is PBS newshour
Facebook had donated to 46 out of 55 members on the committee questioning him. That one guy probably was one of the few bitter about being left out!

Oh. Cool thanks.
Wow FB willfully sold the data. It's in the contract and zuck didn't know...
What do you mean?
If we are summoned to give testimony in court then we have to appear in court, otherwise, it is contempt of court. Is it the same case with Senate testimony ?
No, he could have refused, but it wouldn't look good
Welcome to the world our company lives in. You have Russian founder, so Putin can use your servers to hack into America. Watching Bloomberg as well. It’s like Galileo explaining church guys why Earth is not flat.
That's exactly how I felt... These senator are interrogating Mark as if he is GOD himself... And expect him to have all the answers and solutions to some impossible problems... It's crazy.
Ted Cruz was embarrassing. He focused on all the wrong things and I wanted to punch his face. I can’t believe he started arguing about who has a say in universal “good” vs “bad”
Omg, he was such a douche with his questions about if Zuc fires people for being republicans
I think we'd be better off getting corporate money out of politics so we can hold incompetent politicians accountable and vote them out.
