Does Affirm finances escort service?

Affirm +- Jun 12, 2018

No! In fact we do not even finance alcohol/gun purchases.

Wtf is Affirm?

Visa shaolin Jun 12, 2018

I just had to google it. Its like a payday lender with nice portal.

Affirm loans' APR never exceeds 30%, and a large chunk of our loans have 0% interest, subsidized by the merchant. We have no late fees, or any other fees except the interest charge which we tell you up front.

Why give up that Twitter stock? 📈

Visa shaolin Jun 12, 2018

You cant help it, do ya?

Just curious is all. Affirm is suffering from brain drain from what I've heard from friends there, while Twitter stock has more than doubled since this person presumably joined.

I joined as a new grad with TC (base plus options) worth ~$180k/year valuing the options at (preferred price minus strike price). Cannot accurately say for someone coming in with experience but it's probably not that much higher. I think you have to hope for valuation to rise for comp to be competitive with FANG

180k was total compensation?

Affirm 8lvuy Jun 26, 2018

Can't see how we are going to have much more growth unfortunately. If you didn't come in 2.5+ years ago, might as well go FANG
