Affirm loans' APR never exceeds 30%, and a large chunk of our loans have 0% interest, subsidized by the merchant. We have no late fees, or any other fees except the interest charge which we tell you up front.

I did see that. Forgive my smugness. Anonymity encorages that. Keep up the good work. Having said that, you guys are more akin to Rent-a-center? I know a dude who once financed 1800 bucks for a six hundred dollars couch.

Haven't heard of them, just checked their website. Affirm is not a rent to own model, it's just a point-of-sale loan with no collateral. If you got a year-long loan with us, you could never pay more in interest than around 20% of your purchase price.

Just curious is all. Affirm is suffering from brain drain from what I've heard from friends there, while Twitter stock has more than doubled since this person presumably joined.

Going to $60 it is. And, that will be the end of this bull market. Then we go to the bottom. Do sell when it gets to sixty.

A friend of mine described an exodos of people (including early folks) from his team and surrounding teams over the past year, ultimately he also left after just over a year. To be fair I don't know if it represents a company wide trend or not but that was the implication.

Yeah, it certainly looks like it since a couple of crucial members left recently too.

I joined as a new grad with TC (base plus options) worth ~$180k/year valuing the options at (preferred price minus strike price). Cannot accurately say for someone coming in with experience but it's probably not that much higher. I think you have to hope for valuation to rise for comp to be competitive with FANG

No! In fact we do not even finance alcohol/gun purchases.

Can't see how we are going to have much more growth unfortunately. If you didn't come in 2.5+ years ago, might as well go FANG
