Thinking of interviewing in the near future. Will strive to get into "Tier 1", if not, which Tier 2 companies should I definitely avoid? Tier 1: Basically anyone who can pay 250k+ TC for 3YoE. Reasons to avoid: 1. Dumpster Fire products 2. Politics driven 3. No growth potential 4. Unstable + Layoffs 5. Toxic work culture TC: 180. 3YoE. Areas: Backend, Distributed Systems

Yeah, I'll just interview with them. Unless the team is extremely good, won't take it. Hopefully will get unbiased information from friends who work there.

Splunk. Avoid it . It's full of nepotism
Isn’t that becoming a trend for most companies nowadays?
Woah! I thought Splunk is doing well. Especially in their new products and push to cloud? Is the nepotism across all orgs?
