While TC is what counts at the end of the day, I'm curious to know what companies offer higher Software Engineer (IC) base salaries. My limited anecdata tells me that Oracle, Roku, Square, Salesforce, and eBay can reach the $200K - $250K range at the most senior levels. Who else? Also, do startups compete decently with high base salary figures? YOE: 10, TC: $325K
TC or GTFO.

What do you mean by the most senior levels?
Whoops, meant to reply to you - see below!
Basically, the highest salaries will be for the highest IC level. I just wanted to make it clear that I wasn't looking for high entry-level numbers, for example, but literally the highest base salary numbers (ergo, top level IC).
Principal at Salesforce is in the 230-250 base range easily. You can probably hit 200 as Lead.
Xilinx can reach 300k base at the highest IC level
What Xilinx is doing?
Bloomberg
^ agree, high base since they don't have much else in the typical comp sense (rsu/options)
Dicks you say? Count me in!
Almost any large company will hit 200k+ base, even mine does.

Good to know, thanks. Do you know of specific offers/numbers?
It's all cash, and competitive with the TC of other top companies. Have def seen people on blind claiming 400-600 or even more, but 250-300 cash is very realistic
