I am thinking of switching employer, and wanted to research companies with good health insurance (as this is also a good benefit to factor in the overall compensation. Especially with the rising health care costs). Can you please share how your health insurance benefits are.. Any details like copay/coinsurance/deductible/Max out of pocket/Any lifetime or yearly limits etc. I understand that the above info will change by the service like office visit vs inpatient etc. I am just looking for some reference - like regular office visits, and emergency room visit. EDIT: For reference, my current insurance: - $0 for single, $70/month for family. - Non emergency visits: $0 copay/coins/deductible - Emergency visit: $35 - Pharmacy: $5 per prescription.
We pay 100% of premiums. Have sde roles in Seattle or Utah. You can choose between a high deductible plan, or a premium plan that covers almost everything. Company put money in you hsa with high deductible, not with the premium plan - but they cover premiums and pretty much the whole deductible
Avoid Lockheed Martin at all cost. Terrible health insurance. I pay almost $3K/ year for a terrible high deductable plan.
Godaddy, free insurance Amazon : close to 14$ pm for a single person .
Nice. How does the copay, coinsurance, deductible look approx?

Shopify employees : Are you good?? They're pitting you against each other? wtf
If I am reading this right: then you will pick an insurer, then shortlist companies to interview? Or interview, and then when you get an offer compare their offerings? Either way, we have no role to play!
When in research mode (and when I am not yet decided on the companies list), it doesn't hurt to gather info from either sides. At the end, I will end up with a list to prioritize interview order. Also, sometimes the location matters.
