Comparable product management grades between Amazon and Google?
What do we believe are the equivalent Google mappings for Amazon L6, L7 and L8 product management manager and IC grades? Does Google have the equivalent of Sr Principal Product IC roles? Is there a Product Management vs Product Management Technical distinction drawn in Google?

Google PM = Amazon PMT. Scope wise I find they are quite similar. Google will downlevel because they can match comp one level below amazon. So L7 at Amazon = L6 at Google based on TC, but scope wise I’d take the higher level role at Amazon any day. Don’t believe either company has Sr Principal (ie L8 IC) role in PM.
