Compass Engineering and Product
Compass headquartered at NYC seems to a unicorn poised to grow and dominate real estate market. Anybody know about their engineering and product culture? They seem to have recently hired senior leadership in engineering from big corps so is interesting but could also turn into a disaster if there are misalignments. Please share your thoughts if you work there or have met folks during an interview etc.

Itās a disaster. Majority of P&E is very unhappy with leadership. Turnover is extremely high and general quality of work life has diminished. Compass is a joke of a technology company. Itās a good real estate brokerage, but nothing more than that.
So good opportunity to build the tech now that they have the $$$ and are hiring serious tech leaders, no?
I would love to hear some more input as to why you feel that is. Are you currently still at compass?
