I left for Google, literally doubling my pay. You can totally get to FAANG from this sector. I know two others from my team who also left for Google and Amazon.

Also, I was contacted by Google and Amazon recruiters, so I'm pretty sure they are looking for people like us.

Oh ok good to know! How long did you prep for the google interview and any suggestions or handy tips ? I mean i know there would already be tons of tips out there but I am just curious to listen for advice from someone of the same background as me .

Also I am currently close to complete my interviews for an SDE 2 role in all 3 companies , so just curious which among those 3 would suggest to join and why ?

Yeah that makes sense. My positing with comcast is is for an Eng 2 role and looks like the TC over there in Denver would be close 93k
Where as the one with Verizon (Seattle) is contract role( contract to hire) and the contracting company has agreed an hourly rate with me which comes to 104k per year.
Not sure of that package with AT&T in Sunnyvale.
So any thoughts on whether a full time
Role is always better than contract role ? Even though a contracting role pay would
    Be higher ?

Even if it’s a reputed American consulting company ? I am
Not talking about any of the indian/desi ones.
Also how’s the immigration with consulting/contracting companies?

Don't trust any body shop. Contract based job is not secure, you will be treated as a useless piece of shit and won't be allowed to participate in most of stuff.

So I verbally accepted the FTE offer I had . Tried to get the Recuriter to budge and match my TC from contracting offer(I did not tell them it’s a contracting offer ). After 2 rounds of negotiation they
Not sure how I feel about it . I have 5 years of YOE (In US) 7 if I include home exp,
I know it’s not a FAANG , but kinda feel frustrated that I haven’t managed to to hit 100K plus yet in my career.
Should I send an email to recruiter to re negotiate or is that not advisable ?
      Thoughts ?

Go to Comcast over Verizon or Att. I found them to be more innovative and amongst the telcos you might get to work on cooler stuff.

Thank you for the input. Appreciate it. That helps me feel good about the role atleast. Also can I know your thoughts on the role and TC ? I have been offered an Java/SW Eng 2 role there.
4 years of YOE ( 5 if you include internship/ CO-Op experience) . Being offered TC 93K in Denver. Should I push or negotiate for more ?

Comcast does pay a bit low overall, is 93 tc or base? Base is ok, tc sounds a bit low. But then again se2 is still junior position.

Yes I negotiated twice pushed it from 81k to 88k. Bonus never changed.Recruiter said this is max they could and didn’t have budget for signing bonus too it seems.
Have verbally accepted the offer and they want me to sign ...
Should I push back and negotiate again or accept ?

I guess that's a call you make, if negotiated twice then would you be willing to walk away from the offer? If not I would not negotiate over the dollars here and there.

Do companies negotiate on the bonus %age ? I kept pushing for higher base pay and did not touch much on bonus . Naive mistake hunh ? To be honest , no I am not willing to walk away . In the sense it’s preferred role, but just wondering about my TC and since this is the first time I have negotiated , wanna maker sure I have done my best and have not to push it as high as I can. Recuriter said something about being limited by bands working the company pay grade , but don’t know if this is just bull shit for
Me to sign or if it’s the actual truth.

It took me about 2.5 months to get ready for my Google interview, but I was already pretty good at leetcode cause I was giving interviews for ATT and keeping my skills sharpish for that.
To be honest, for your situation I would just take the job in whatever location you like the best then spend some time prepping to go somewhere better. I don't really think there is much difference in the companies, but I will say that ATT is not a tech company no matter how much it pretends to be. There is a lot of poor development practice going on there.
