Background: 8 yoe as SDE in India at SAP, Completed MS in USA now so recent graduate. Amazon offered as SDE2 at Seattle: Base: 155k Bonus 1: 42k (monthly payment) Bonus 2: 35k (monthly payment) RSU: 70 I want to know how much room is there for negotiation.

My research say that it should have ~30k at least more in total signing bonus
I got a very similar offer several years ago with less experience then you. You can push up another 50k TC from where you are, though you will need a reason (ie another offer).
I have another offer but that is way below Amazon. So technically can't use it for leverage. Will try to reason it based on my experience maybe

Just to give you a comparision. I got an offer as sde 2 around a month ago and here are my numbers. Base: 130k Bonus 1: 90k Bonus 2: 70k Rsu: 105. I am a fresh PhD student. Your base is fine, it's almost near max limit. Your rsu looks low compare to your base. You should ask around 100 rsu units.

Congratulations!! Your TC is around 220k, which is higher end of sde 2. If you perform well I suppose in 2 or 3 years you will be promoted to sde 3.
But is it really top of the band?
