Compensation for L65(M)/L5(G)/L6(A) in India
Looking to relocate back to India and wanted to know what the base, bonus (yearly as well as joining) and stock(yearly as well as joining) ranges for the following positions in India, so as to help get an idea before I approach the teams and interview. No offers yet. 1. Microsoft L65 2. Google L5 3. Amazon L6 4. Any other for an equivalent level. Current TC: ~240K, 15 YOE (please don’t judge)
A friend of mine who returned to india is currently working in msft with TC 60lakhs. 12 yoe. Thats the only data point i have.
TC ~50L with 5 YoE here.
That looks quite low! I saw someone posting close to 1cr for 10+ yoe

You get US stocks if you relocate within same company. At 65 level MS would give 50 lac as base salary. So 90 lac to 1 cr would be possible.
1.5 Cr possible. You can try in startups like swiggy, Rubrik, Cohesity. Atlassian is also hiring in Bangalore and paying up to 2Cr for this experience.

Altassian does not pay this high. Don't think they easily pay 300 k in US. Do you think Swiggy can pay 80-90 lac cash.
I think in the India , they have notion of CTC. I don't know much about it probably not same as TC like in USA.

Yep salaries after tax in India are higher. There is much more competition for the talent pool from the indian giants these days
