Compensation for L8/E8 level at Google, Facebook?
I did use the search function but there is not much comp data for higher levels such as L8/E8. Anyone can shed some light? Appreciate your help.

~1m in fang over ~1-5 to 2m in others and some startups
That’s interesting. In lower job grades, fang pays the best. You are saying that it changes for higher job grades?
There are many variables in every company as you rise up it varies case by case typically smaller cap company pay you well if you are irreplaceable and tough to get or snatch

Big fish in small pond, you are more valuable to them and raise bar easily and promotion in FANG as you move up becomes harder with every step you climb and it takes ages luck and many factors
The lower end of E8 should be ~1M, can get much higher
