Asking for a friend. Does Google require full version of competing offer letters when negotiating comp? If the competing offer is already expired a few months ago, can it still be used with a partial screenshot(hide offer deadline) sent to the recruiter? TC: 230K
Friend. So is that your TC or your "friend's"?
We have same TC.
Lol. Because you and your "friend" are the same person?
This seems shady.
It’s not shady, just not able to arrange all interviews during same time slot, and deadlines are too tight.
Yes they do!
I think it depends on whether your recruiter trusts you. Mine asked for an informal proof of my first competing offer and I sent her an email from the recruiter of the other company. For the other offers she just take what I told her. She said because I was the most honest engineer she ever worked with 😂
Just say you are not comfortable sharing. That is the other offer, you “google” can either match it or not. Based on that I would make my decision. Don’t play stupid games
Don’t be shady huge red flag at google
It could be just confirmation email from you to recruiter. You don't even need written offer.
Really? Companies demand to see competing offer letters for proof now?
Especially if they believe you are bullsh*tting
