Confused about google interview process

Applying for a new graduate job SWE in google. Already finished my onsite 2+2(4 interviews over 2 days). Hc decided to have 2 additional interviews. Before scheduling the next interview, the recruiter asked me if I am keen for a champion call with a google engineer to practice for a mock interview. Is this a norm? I never see this anywhere else or reddit or blind.

In the final round, you have to levitate over water

Don't be a bitter melon just because you didn't get in

Yes, this happens. Recruiters try to help their candidates. So, take it. It will help.

Do you know why the recruiter call it a champion call?

Seems like they're trying to force people in to make hiring quota

It happens when you don't qualify but still they see potential in you so they wanna give you another chance basically, and offering free 1:1 mentorship to help you be better prepared
