I’ve interviewed with Google, Amazon, Nest, Palantir, and some other companies. I make it through every stage flawlessly but at the end don’t make it through. It’s definitely not a question of skills. Does anyone know common reasons for this? Maybe I just don’t fit in with them?

Or maybe they just had other stronger candidates (skill, fit, or both)

Did you go back and ask for feedback from all of those interviews. If you didn't then you are committing the same mistakes.Ask what the exact reason for rejection was.You might be surprised!

Companies like google and amazon and those that mode themselves after their interviewing style typically make it their policy to not share feedback. It’s absolutely terrible if you ask me but that’s how they work.

Yeah I’m a senior/lead. Somehow they always say it was a really tough decision but they decided not to move forward with me. If that’s a sign then I’m sure just keeping at it and I’ll get in.
