If I am having issues with my manager can I speak with HR, or do I have limited rights since I am a contractor? My recruiter stated I should only be speaking directly with them, but I want something to be documented about how they disrespectful and awful they have been.
Is this in consulting or a different arm of the company? Cuz if it's a consulting manager that's even more ridiculous since we're all contractors for the clients and should understand how to treat other contractors...
Are you from experfy??
you should work with your recruiting companies HR team on your complaints. they should step in and help bridge the conversations.

Yes, you can speak to HR but they will not generally help contractors. Do document everything before going to HR. Have you spoken to your staffing agency / the project SM/partner.
I have, but they said there is nothing they can really do. I don’t expect help from Deloitte’s Hr, but if it lands on their record I’d be happy. They obviously have never worked with a contractor before and when I stated I needed to stick to my SOW they became upset and compared me to more flexible teammates who are all FTEs. Looking for my next gig because now I’m being pushed off of projects and was told last minute not to work the whole holiday week due to budget issues. Mmmm okay then. Thanks for your advice and for listening.
They have annual shutdown for 7 days after Christmas every year. I don't think it has anything to do with budget.
