I have an SDE L61 offer from Microsoft.
The job posting was for L62. I felt that all the interviews went very well. However, the recruiter said that this offer is for L61. The recruiter also said that the hiring manager decides the level and he can't do anything about it.
Is is worthwhile to discuss with my hiring manager why she thinks I should be hired at L61 and not L62?
I have a MS in computer science degree in USA with 3 YOE. Should I push hard for L62?
What points should I discuss with my hiring manager/recruiter to make my point for an L62?
