Convoy compensation
How is the compensation at convoy? I've been told there is no bonus but equity and salary increases. How much are those? Is their base and equity competitive? Trying to decide if worth interviewing

You'd make more as a L4 in the next 4 years. Equity is meaningless and a bit of a moonshot.

I have heard at the principal level, you can get up to $250k cash plus equity totaling 450k.
It sucks. Made me go through a bunch of essay writing and homework for a VP of product role. The compensation package was depressing. The only reason to join them would be if you believe that they can exit at multi-billions in the next 4-5 years. For me it was very clear that their exit is a while away.
Yes, this sounds about right. Mediocre salary but they offer equity to bridge the gap.
