I have a few interviews lined up for corporate strategy roles at Microsoft, Adobe and Google ( Product Strategy). - What type of cases should I expect? Will they be similar to the consulting case interviews? - Any resources to help me prepare?
Hi OP, I’d love to hear more about your interview process and experience with the Microsoft role as I’m exploring the same team now. Also, would be curious to hear which role you ended up pursuing, why, and how it’s been going. Feel free to reply here or DM, if easier. Thanks!

Very similar to consulting case interviews with more of a tech focus on some of them. A lot of ex consulting candidates I see have good case abilities but poor depth in tech. from a market perspective.
Thank you. I do come from a tech background with a number of years of technical experience (then MBA and consulting for a few years). Can you elaborate a little on what you mean by tech depth in the context of a case interview?
Sure - I am saying you need some awareness of competitive positioning and market trends. The cases aren’t necessarily self contained. For example, if Adobe wants to move to adjacent areas of CRM, you need to know a bit about Salesforce / SAP, trends, etc.
