How much you spend on toddler each month?
I think only kindergarten is about 2000, is that true?
Time to get out of the Valley! Ppl in Europe make less than 2K a month and can afford kids + housing!
You earn no more than 3000 /month in Europe
Are you fucking crazy? Grads make 5k eur/month in Netherlands and northern Europe.
After tax.
Preschool is not Kindergarten. Kids need to socialize and learn skills before public Kindergraten. In Seattle this can be 500-1500 per month, depending on how much you want to spend.
Full time daycare, assume >$1500/mo. Price goes down a bit as they get older (and require fewer teachers per student), but it's still easily the top expense until they can go to public school.
What? My siblings are I never went to preschool. We just spent a lot of time with kids in the neighborhood around the same age. Carried that on to our own kids. That’s how most people do it up to this day. Source: Had kid before making insane tech salaries, lmfao at 500-1500 a month to “socialize your kids”, it’s easier to find other new parents and arrange for play dates and stay overs... Toys, indoor and outdoor play and a mix of games, tv, tablets. Then again wife is SAHM, which happened because her working was less than the cost of care most softies and Amazon couples pay up for.
That's really expensive.
This doesn't sound as expensive as I figured. That's a lot, but not life changing amount of money.
Get out of seattle downtown. Suburbs have nice private preschools for about 1300 a month. If you have kids, do not stay in downtown seattle
Kindergarten is free but they get off at 3pm, so you need a nanny or after school care, that's 600 or so a month. As kids get older, they want to buy clothe, toys, etc.
How is it free? Amazon pays?
It's called public school.
Public school start at kindergarten if u live in their zone
Including preschool with food, clothes, toys, additional insurance, and portion of housing - you can spend anywhere between $1200-$2000 in Seattle area.
Portion of housing 😅
Kids need rooms.
