We are utterly disgusted that our friends would steal our moment on this once in a lifetime achievement of marriage. When it happened we were classy and let it pass through. A lot of people scoffed. The girl even wore white!
Faux pas for sure, but remember the story of the two monks and the woman crossing the river.
How did that one go ya jamoke?
A senior monk and a junior monk were traveling together. At one point, they came to a river with a strong current. As the monks were preparing to cross the river, they saw a very young and beautiful woman also attempting to cross. The young woman asked if they could help her cross to the other side. The two monks glanced at one another because they had taken vows not to touch a woman. Then, without a word, the older monk picked up the woman, carried her across the river, placed her gently on the other side, and carried on his journey. The younger monk couldn’t believe what had just happened. After rejoining his companion, he was speechless, and an hour passed without a word between them. Two more hours passed, then three, finally the younger monk could contain himself any longer, and blurted out “As monks, we are not permitted a woman, how could you let her treat you like that?” The older monk looked at him and replied, “Brother, I set her down on the other side of the river, why are you still carrying her?”
Do the same in their wedding!
Announce your divorce at their wedding. That’ll show em!
That’s crazy inappropriate. When even was it? During a toast? Vows?
Right before my partner walked down the isle.
Have you always had a rivalry with this person? How close are you and your spouse with them?
You sound like a d bag. Our moment? Shouldn't you be happy and want to party even harder with more reason to celebrate?
An average wedding is going to cost more that $10k. Regardless of what you think people should spend on weddings, it’s kinda like stealing money. I spent over $30k on my wedding. We think it was worth every penny. If someone pulled that shit at my wedding, I would have kicked them off the boat. And that’s just from a financial perspective. I think the average brainwashed heterosexual American man and woman (I’m brain washed) would consider the wedding to be the woman’s day. It’s special for the man too, but everything during my wedding was for my wife, cuz she deserved it. It’s a day that’s not really supposed to be shared with anyone else other than the couple. That’s also why other women aren’t supposed to be wearing white.
is it on youtube?
Needs to be on YouTube. Name and shame them. Maybe monetize while you are at it.
The only q is what do you plan do to at their ceremony assuming that she said yes...? And tc obviously 🙄
We're going to RSVP to their wedding but not show up.
Maybe announce on a kid..???
Yikes! What killjoys to do that to you and to themselves!
Soon after the proposal did they bang on the table next to your wedding cake? Such a troll post this is!
Troll post.
This actually happened. Loser.
