Both. Do the book, then practice on leetcode. The road to fb/google is not easy

There is no “better” one. Getting good at solving problems on spot is the objective. Finishing cover to cover CtCI nor Leetcode doesn’t guarantees that.

All cracking the coding interview problems are in leetcode. So go for leetcode

As someone who practiced Leetcode for months and reached final round of Google , I'd recommend practicing Leetcode questions until you can comfortably solve medium level questions. Get Premium membership and tackle Google/Facebook questions specifically and don't forget to sort the questions by frequency.

I didn't interview with FB. I only interviewed with Google and Microsoft out of the three and got an offer from Microsoft.

I find medium pretty hard tbh. Did you get system design questions? How did you fare for that?

Ctci first for better high level understanding of the interview process. Leetcode is purely for getting better at algorithm interviews.

You need to read some material first to brush up on algorithms and data structures. After that stick to leetcode.
