Which side you would prefer to buy a home? 1) In Kirkland near 405 or 2) Bellevue touching i90 including beginning Sammamish Assume; both sides take equally to reach office and we don’t have kids. Even if we start thinking about, we won’t need major school district for another 6 years
Keep the cash and rent Buy when market crashes
Bellevue. Love the houses near sammamish lake
Traffic in that part of bellevue can be pretty bad
It is bad already and 5 years from now; it will be next level shit unless Uncle Donald doesn’t send us back 😜
I really like Kirkland personally. Cute downtown, some walkable areas depending on where you are. Good balance of things to do with smaller town feel. Commute can be terrible from either depending on where you’re heading.
Bellevue. No brainier.
If you are white, then Kirkland. If you are Chinese, then Bellevue. If you are Indian, you should look into Redmond. Else, anywhere!
Hmmm. And you believe things shouldn’t mix up by letting Indian or Chinese stay in Kirkland. Well with that logic, I’m sure you live in Redmond
He's probably just trying to help. I'm in SF, so no idea whether his opinion is based in reality though.
98033 kirkland (south of exit 18) is a very good area, better than bellevue near I90 imo. Close to google, ms, downtown bellevue and not too far from seattle (obviously there will be traffic on 520). Within Kirkland you want to go west and south. Go north for affordability. The totem lake area will have brand new shopping village so houses may appreciate a lot there (speculation of course). If you buy in kirkland, try to stay out of the high voltage power line.
What’s your budget? $1million?
Almost
Bellevue if you can afford it, Kirkland if not :)
Thanks for your response
You didn't give much to go on, 90 will get you to seattle faster. Bellevue schools are generally better. Kirkland is also nice.
