Has any male tried crossdressing at work?
Like as a gag or Halloween costume?
Not as a costume, no.
Ah gotcha, I don’t think most companies will care much. I’d say a good gauge for it is general office culture (more conservative smaller employers might not be so accommodating). With that being said I don’t think cross dressing is a protected class so you really are at the whim of your office culture.
I see it all the time. Saw it in Google, seeing it at FB as well. Just go for it if that's what you want.
You see men crossdressing as women openly? That’s bold!
Well they don't identify as men, but people with make organs dressed in female outfits. They have a female name etc. It's called coming out! You should be able to find a lot of information online. I'd start small, tell a few people I trust, get their acceptance, and then expand that too circle that at least includes all the people I regularly work with, and then switch. At Google a team even held a tea party for one of their team member coming out. Edit: I work in silicon valley, you experience will depend a lot on your location.
In India, I have never seen anything like that.
Are you asking about an Indian workplace? What's your location?
Some talk shit behind their back, most just don’t care after initial surprise. Depends greatly on culture of company/city/country etc
I just find it scary.
What are you afraid of in that scenario? It is just clothing.
Afraid of the exposure. A man wearing a dress one day to work. That is scandalous!
I’ve seen it now and at last company. Not surprising in the Bay Area. Let people be themselves, it’s all good.
Just do whatever you want, man...be happy. You might expect to get a few weird looks for like the first day or two, but no ones actually gonna give you shit for it. After a week, people will completely forget about it anyways
Relativelly common at Google. Nobody seems to care. Just wear whathever makes you feel confortable.
Common at F5.

Tipping culture is really getting out of control! Waiter gave me ‘a look’ because I tipped her 10% for ‘BAD service!’
Happens where I work without issues HR should help if anyone gives flack
I know, but people’s reactions?
