Read this on Glassdoor: "As an initial hire, you are brought on as a contractor. As a result, the benefits package is lacking in some areas. The medical insurance package is very low grade" What's does this mean?? Is this true for software engineers?? How does this affect the compensation and RSUs vesting?
That’s for specific roles, and software isn’t one. Their benefits package is decent.
Cool.. good to know.. thanks you folks..
The review was by contractor not full time so if you’re a contractor then it is valid for you
Do we have TC?
Still at phone interview stage.. was going through their reviews and found an interesting one..hence posted..
Lol no
Got a regular full time offer, and got a copy of the benefits brochure. Benefits looked fairly standard for an upper tier tech company, not quite as generous as I had at FB but at least equalling anything I've had elsewhere m
Lol this is only true for contractors - like drivers and labelers
There are mech engs that were hired on as contractors first, it's not unheard of don't spread false info if you don't know
This hasn't happened for nearly two years.
Whoever wrote the Glassdoor review must have been one of the people who that was done to, last time it happened in my knowledge was about a year ago or a little over that
LMAO no it's not.
