What do you think? True or False and why: Mainstream or general culture in the US is more similar to culture in Mexico than it is to culture in Europe... say, in Hungary.
Itโd make more sense to compare the US to Western Europe...
Outside of maybe London or big towns in the UK or Ireland, Iโd imagine provincial areas of Western Europe are still more different than small towns in the US and Mexico. The level of Catholic influence could be a determining factor though.
Weird question - you want to know vs Hungary or vs Europe? Western Europe yes eastern Europe no

Love how you ask this question as if the average person knows what Mexican culture actually is. Highly doubt the Indians on blind can answer your question
Taco Bell doesn't count?
^itโs a good example of US culture.
Latino culture is far more different vs US compared to European culture (especially western/central). Just visit anywhere in Mexico outside of the gringo-fied Cancun/Cabo and youโll see. Both are still far more similar to the US than Asian, Arab, African, etc
Well put
Howso? Iโve been to DF and small towns in Southern Mexico. The north I donโt have much experience in but it seems just like small towns in arid areas of the US. Trucks, boots, sad ballads etc.
Is Blind culturally closer to Quora or Central Europe to Eastern Europe?
Quora lol? Have you been on this app before
Rural parts US/MX more similar. Urban parts; depends on city (eg; I'd say New Orleans parallels MX cities moreso than EU cities, but SF is closer to EU cities than MX cities). For suburbs (sans LA ~maybe), everything is probably same as it is in EU. It's also worth noting that many major cities in the US have neighborhoods/districts/quarters that are aligned with a specific culture/people. Eg in Seattle; Chinatown (Asian), Ballard (Scandinavian), the CD (African), Columbia City (Latino), ect... So it's kind of a moving target.
Sounds about right to me. New Orleans because of the Catholic influence? Mexico City seemed like a bigger US city to me whereas European cities aside from London seemed much different.
I think it's more the Spanish and French influences on traditions (Mardi gras) and architecture. The environment is also similar ~tropical, humid, relatively low tech (aka crumbling infrastructure, narrow/dirty roads, cops riding horses, propane gas street lamps, ect..).
Fun fact: many scholars postulate the Huns founded Hungary.
I've been over 30 countries. The US is the most similar to Canada.
Good luck convincing someone from Montreal.
Canada is most similar to the United States.

How is it similar to Mexican culture at all?
I guess we eat tacos, or something? They're not that similar.
Cowboy culture, Rock music, American TV and movies, ranching history, a colonial history, revolution of independence, wrestling, skin-based racism, etc Basically they are more catholic influenced and a more specific Native American cultural influences
