Hey guys, Any insight about salaries for Product Managers in the DC area? I’m wondering about salary ranges for medium-sized companies (e.g. 150-200 people) vs tiny startups (e.g. 20-30 people). I’m also wondering how people have negotiated other aspects of TC aside from base salary, and what you would want/expect to see from different parts of TC. I need to give a mid-size company a baseline this weekend! I have 2 years of PM/PjM experience and a MS degree in engineering. The PM role at the mid-size company involves leadership and a lot of decision-making. I’d be advising other PMs and developers, but not directly managing anyone. I also have an upcoming onsite at a tiny startup—wish me luck! It would be awesome to get 2 offers. Thank you in advance! (I sorta want to use the mid-size company offer to get a better offer from the startup, but who knows if I’ll get an offer from the startup at all.)
Update: The mid-size company offered me almost $130k! I just had the startup interview, and I should hear from them soon. I have to respond to the mid-size company by Thursday.

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
