"Data Science" Salary

I have 2 years experience building various ml models such as regressions (reg, log, etc), tree-based models (gbm, ada, dt, rf, etc), rec models (als-based models, k means, etc) using tools such as Hive, Python, R, Spark. What can I expect as a salary? I'm in the SF Bay Area.

Are you a data scientist for Microsoft?

Besides the numbers thrown here, your education can affect the salary for this position (e.g. PhD from Stanford vs. BA from Shitford)

I wish I had a rich daddy to put me in those schools.. (known too many people just dumped money and got the admission )

Troll. Stanford and most other similar tier schools don't consider financials in admission decisions.

Could range from 90k-300k depend on your education background and what company. You didn't provide enough info to be more specific.

How did you learn it?

Some as an Econ undergrad, most through an SF boot camp, solidified by a year on the job.

Excuse my ignorance, what SF bootcamp is? I have MS in economics but honestly my statistics and higher maths skills are a bit rusty...
