Data Science VS Data Engineer

What's the difference? I see the same company recruiting for both roles at the same time. Isn't it the same?

    At FB, it seems there is less coding for data scientists, focusing on data analysis and visualization in Jupyter-like notebooks using Python or R. Data engineers focus more on writing ETL and spend a lot of time writing Python and SQL in Dataswarm, which is similar to Airflow (AirBnB) or Luigi (Spotify).

    Above are correct, although scientist in this day and age must understand more than statistics. Math & programming for hyperparameter tuning, ensembling, etc.
