Board Games are great. You're doing something together, there's space for non creepy physical contact (high fives, etc.), and it's fun and nerd.
Speaking of this, maybe go on meetup and find a board game group in your area so it's not just the two of you. The NY Public Library does board game meetups too; maybe the libraries in your city have something like this.
