Move teams or quit. You will never be able to change a manager's style in a short length of time, if ever.

Set your boundary from the jump. I’ve successfully put my micromanager back in her place. The thing is you gotta do it as early as possible. If you allow them to come and take control once they will never step out

Make sure your work is handled and then tell them to fuck off...professionally of course.

I had to deal with a boss like that for years; he was bossy and shouty and micro-managey and it destroyed my self esteem. Fortunately he was eventually kicked upstairs and now I do the same work but for a great boss.

Find a new boss.
