Do you agree E3 has been on the decline? Here’s an article I was reading this morning : https://www.polygon.com/e3/2019/6/7/18649588/ea-e3-rumors-predictions-announcements
Its become so sanitized that its just marketers and "journalists" who hate games sniffing each other's farts. Its so detached from actual gaming that its cringy and insulting. It also doesn't help when many of the large companies are having their own events instead.

I think that E3 is evolving and not declining. For my purposes, it still is a venue to reconnect with colleagues whom I no longer have the privilege of working with directly, networking with others I haven't, playing a few games I otherwise wouldn't have and recently observing the publics reaction to things on offer.
How do you have an opportunity to play games with all the public attendance?
In other words, press / marketing, not tech. E3 pretty much shuns industry professionals now. It's a circle jerk for press, "press", marketing types, and executives.
I personally love E3 but I don't think it's on the decline I think lots of the gaming leaders are recognizing the best medium for their audiences is streaming or making their own mini conference without spending the marketing dollars they don't have. Big tech conferences are all the same way minus the mass press presence as this is so heavily consumer focused.
