Accepted an offer both verbally and in writing. However having doubts the new company culture may not be a good fit and the focus area may not be a good fit. Was going to get 20% more on TC plus loads of equity. Is it legal to decline after week of acceptance? TC: 165K
Thanks, I already feel shitty doing this .
Don't feel like scambag. 20% of new employees simply don't show up on first day. If you let them know you are not showing up you are a nice guy.
Do it. It’s legal and also can be a great character building exercise.
I was given less than a day to make a decision and I guess I accepted that while frustrated with state of the current project. Now that I had some time to think through I feel it’s a bad move . I have done similar once in the past and regretted leaving in less than six months
You need to practice more patience man. And learn to push back.

It's legal, you'll just feel like a scumbag for a while. I've done it before.
Can confirm. Has been 6 months but still feel like a scumbag.
